Nigerian Student Claims Same-Sex Marriage is Wrong

A research has been done by a postgraduate student at the University of Lagos in Nigeria. He claimed that as magnet attracts opposite poles and repels same poles, in the same manner, he proves that same-sex marriage is unnatural.
He was being praised by many of his colleagues and his teacher in the university. They said he must be awarded Nobel Prize for his research.
Chibuihem Amalaha said that according to the theory of magnetism, the North Pole will only attracts the South Pole and oppose the North Pole, the same way the man will only attract the woman by the way nature has made a female.
A man cannot attract another man or a woman cannot attract another woman because they are same, added Chibuihem Amalaha.
It is such an embarrassing and unscientific article and is not according to standard of education at the University of Lagos. "The uncritical and uninformed article is likely to add to the ignorance and prejudice surrounding homosexuality in Nigeria", said Luiz DeBarros of South African LGBT website MambaOnline.
Nigeria is rated as lowest in the world for LGBT acceptance. Government of Nigeria has passed a law that same-sex marriage is a punishable offence and the victim will have to suffer jail terms.
Goodluck Jonathon, president of Nigeria, still has not signed the above legislation passed by the parliament.
