yes the school needs the cultual values of the society to survive
Every society needs education in order for it to grow. As we all know education is a weapon for fighting ignorant and poverty but if this ignorant is not fought it means we are at the risk of loosing our ground and pride as a society. Harmonising Education and Society will go a long way to make such a society grow both economically and politically. Since education serves as light, members of educated society are likely to understand the cultures, customs and laws of the society and work towards obeying them for the smooth running of the society. Education also helps the society to know and respect the rights of individual members of the society. If only our leaders can see education as being a very important element of growth,then, we will not be hearing of teachers and students going on strike. It is high time we take education serious inorder to make our society a developed and interesting place to live in. SAMPSON EKIKERE PEACE.

Yes, society really need the hand in hand work with the school(education), because without the help of education society will be meaningless and be without form, since education is alike sheding light to a hidden niddle in the dark and also transform one from ignorancy, it make us to handle a difficult task in a pleasant way, it also help us to deal with different types of people with the way they are and in the manner they will understand. There is no how society can be without education, there is no how we can separate two of them, they work together.
As it has been stated in the concept of education that education is an unavoidable concept and property in human endeavour, one can say 'yes' it is necessary for all round development of the society. Because education also deals with the way a society transmits its culture and every society, nations, state, town and villages has one or two things to tell & without education the society cannot develop and get to tell the new generations the history of the society.
Education institutions are micro-societies, which reflect the entire society. The education system in any given society prepares the child for future life and instills in him these skills that will enable to live a useful life and contribute to the development of the society.

Even without the Europeans bringing formal educations,there will be a way we Africans would get education. Education is the process of learning and acquiring information.so,i don't think if the Europeans don't introduce western education we wont be educated.
