ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT. culture has a relevant relationship with the school curriculum because all the subject that are layed down under the curriculum are related to culture of the society for example the behaviour of man must be controlled based on the principle of leadership and followership, these brought about the teaching of subject like government and political science.

culture is the way of life of people:the society's personality will enhance effective (easy flow of knowledge) teaching and learning - 'a Britian will learn the British way,a Nigerian will the Nigeria way'

Edward Tylor defined culture as a complex whole which includes religion, art, values, education and all other capabilities acquired by man as a member of the society. Curriculum is a broad based programme of all the activities and competencies in an educational set up. It includes time table, scheme of work, educational planning ,extra curricular activities and records etc. Culture is all encompassing while curriculum is part of culture. Before a curriculum is planned, culture has to be taken into consideration. If culture has no relationship with the school curriculum, then why are we having cultural dance in school? Therefore, there is a positive relationship between culture and curriculum. Aguda Oluwatofunmi Mary. 200level. Mathematics Department. Matric NO: EKSU/ R/LA/12/0638

You can compare British curriculum to Nigeria curriculum in which teachers and parents can be arrested or sued to the court if they cain their students in Britain. This is not applicable in Nigeria. Culture is at play in the two systems of education. Aguda Oluwatofunmi Mary. 200level. Mathematics department EKSU/R/LA/12/0638

culture has a mutual relationship with the school curiculum.
Culture is the total way of life of every individual in a given society.so, in other to transform and modify this way of life brought about the development and imementation of curicullum.for example, for us to understand the nature brought about the teaching of geography, whereas to manipulate it and improve our living standards lead to the introduction and teaching of subjects like natural science, biology, physics and chemistry.meanwhile subjects like fine art,and theatre art enables us to apreciate the beauty of the nature..BEWAJI TAOFEEK ADEWALE,,,EKSU/R/LA/12/0604.....HEALTH EDUCATION DPT....200L

culture is the total way of life.according to EB Taylor, culture is defined as a complex whole consisting of values, knowledge skills. only man has culture but culture transcent man, culture varies considerably. the behavior must be controlled based on the principle of leadership and followership.man must manipulate nature in order to improve his living standard. these lead to the teaching of the natural science. this shows that culture is major sector in education.Omishola rofiat Ayoade, matric no : Eksu/ r/LA/12/0276.computer science dept,200l.
